Avoid Fat Soluble Vitamin Deficiencies After Gastric Bypass Surgery

Dr. Stephen Bittiker has noticed that a year or two after a patient has Gastric Bypass Surgery, they have developed fat soluble vitamin deficiencies. Aluminum in Antiperspirants & Sun Screens Can Increase Your Breast or Skin Cancer & Alzheimer's Risk

A study by British scientists found that aluminum, a common ingredient added to antiperspirants to stop the skin from sweating, may be linked to breast cancer.

Breast samples from 17 breast-cancer patients, who had undergone mastectomies, were tested by the researchers. Deposits of aluminum in their outer breast tissue were found in the women who used antiperspirants. The aluminum was found in higher concentrations in the tissue closest to the underarm than in the central breast. Researchers believe the aluminum is being absorbed from antiperspirant sprays and roll-ons since aluminum is not normally found in the human body. Dr. Chris Exley from Keele University, who led this study, also suggested that an increased risk of skin cancer and Alzheimer's disease could be the result of the aluminum content of sunscreens.

New Book: "Avoiding Cancer One Day At A Time"

Author Lynne Eldridge, M.D., a guest on The Debra Ray Show, has studied human exposure to pesticide and has a family practice with an emphasis on prevention. One in every two American men and one in every three American women will get cancer over the course of their lifetime. The British Cancer Control Society says, "treating disease is enormously profitable, preventing disease is not."

The book has 10 pages of chemicals associated with cancer risk, which is annually published by the State of California and 13 pages of familiar ingredients in our medications and cleaning products, compiled by OSHA. It explains how to avoid these three common indoor air pollutants that can cause cancer.

New Book: "The High Blood Pressure Hoax"

Author Sherry A. Rogers, M.D., said the major class of antihypertensive drugs make the sick get sicker quicker. Half of the patients on high blood pressure drugs still can't control it, while the drugs make them feel worse. Lowering the blood pressure too much for those past 70 often results in dizziness, weakness, and brain fog.

Dr. Rogers shows the reader the exact type of blood test their doctor needs to order to get accurate mineral levels. Low potassium and magnesium levels may need to be corrected to normalize blood presssure. She recommends reputable sources for supplementation.
